Our visit to the Brec Baton Rouge Zoo

We had the pleasure to spend our Saturday morning at the Brec’s Baton Rouge Zoo. 

We travelled through the different “countries” to view an array of spectacular animals. 

First stop was the Realm of the Tiger.  There is an absolutely beautiful selection of varies cats. 

 

Next stop was traveling through the animals of Africa.  Stripes and large birds were

big highlights to us.

 

 

Then we headed off to view South America varieties of deer and the oddest, yet entertaining pig.

 

 

Of course we had to venture to our native lands and animals of the Louisiana.

 

 

And let us not forget about Australia with its pouch hopping friends.

 

 

The amazing, colorful peacocks put on an entertaining show for us.

 

Lastly my favorite….the petting zoo!!!

 

Brec’s Baton Rouge Zoo is a perfect inexpensive treat for all ages.

Don’t forget they have train rides and animal shows.

Are Realtors, Internet Advisors or hard working professionals?

Are Realtors Internet Advisors or hard working professionals?

A common issue for Realtors is being mistaken for Internet Advisors.  In reality, they are professionals willing to assist you from start to finish.

There are many Real Estate websites available for consumers on the web. With a click of button, you can view homes, ask questions, request property information and more.  Realtors spend countless of hours responding, researching, collecting information and data in reply to numerous requests made, seven days a week.  As a buyer, you should always use the Realtor that has provided accurate information.   Also look for those that are quick to respond with their services. 

It doesn't make much sense to use the Realtor for months via the web then choose a random agent to finish the task.  As a buyer, you should build a relationship with one Realtor, who knows your needs, wants, price range and more. 

The two most important factors are loyalty and trust.  If the Realtor has been loyal and trustworthy throughout the buyer’s time-frame of searching, then honor him or her with your commitment to follow through with their professional services.  The end result will be a buyer turning into a happy homeowner.

Hey Y'all

 

I spent a whole day with clients showing multiple homes.  As I was driving away from the last appointment, suddenly I realized that I had used the word Y'all , numerous  times.  Now living in the South, Y'all is considered the norm.  With that being said, I wondered, Did I sound less intelligent or just another southern girl? I also wondered, If I would have choose “ you guys” or “the both of you” ,would I have gotten strange looks? 

Honestly, the word Y'all is buried so deep in my everyday language, that it would probably be impossible to change!

I did get several laughs on my ride home thinking about how many times I have used this word with all my clients.
